The 5x5 is a not-for-profit entertainment site exclusively for friends of Gus. The basic premise to pick 5 football games weekly against the Las Vegas spread, contributing a fictional $5 a piece.

Basic Rules

* Pick 3 pro and 2 college, or 2 pro and 3 college games (there are exceptions to this at the end and beginning of the season where there may not be enough college or pro games in a given week).

* Lines are generally available on Wednesday. Use the input form on this website to submit your picks. Picks are due on Friday midnight before the weekend games. If you pick a weeknight (weds, thurs, fri) game, your pick for that game is due prior to kick-off.

* Tie-breakers are based upon the sum of the delta between the line and the difference in the actual game score for all 5 games.

* You can only miss two weeks each season to be eligible for the Year-end Top Three.

* There are a bunch of other rules that we don't write down, but if you break one, we will let you know.
